Volunteers Needed - Board Positions Open!

The TC United Soccer club is a volunteer run, non-profit organization.  And the club needs your help to continue to offer and grow our youth soccer programs.

To be frank, we have been understaffed for some time and need folks to setup to help - folks that are committed to building quality sustainable youth soccer programs for all players, at all levels, from all scholastic systems within our area.

The following Board Positions are available:

  • Secretary:  Lead the communication efforts for the club.  Currently Open.
  • Treasurer:  Lead the budgeting, financial reporting and tax preparation for the club. Currently Open.
  • Registrar:  Manage team and player registrations.  This position will be open starting next year, but it is a good time to get someone on-board and trained for the position.

These board positions are two year commitments.

In addition to these traditional board seats, the club needs folks for the following committee roles:

  • Field Schedule Coordinator:  Help the club coordinate the logistics of what teams are using which fields and when for a specific session (Fall, Winter I, Winter II, Spring) and league.
  • Field Maintenance Coordinator:  Help the club setup and maintain our fields (they do not get painted by themselves).
  • Uniform Coordinator:  Help the club coordinate the acquisition and distribution of team uniforms and other club apparel.
  • Team Manager Coordinator:  Help your team with the logistics of running a team for a session (Fall, Winter I, Winter II, Spring).
  • League Coordinator:  Help the club organize and coordinate the logistics for all the teams in a specific session of league play (Fall, Winter I, Winter II, Spring).
  • Fundraising/Sponsorship Coordinator:  Help the club to raise money to support the scholarship fund and new programs.
  • Camp Coordinator:  Help the club to organize camps for recreational, travel and competitive scholastic players.
  • Tournament Coordinator:  Help the club to organize tournaments during the breaks in the training and game seasons across all age groups.

These committee positions are more logistical, short term and have less commitment than board positions - the commitment can be for a single session, a few consecutive sessions or for an entire year depending on your availability.
